Our studio is an alternative to the commercial studio setting, creating a space that feels intimate. Classes are small and allow participants more time with instructors.

Yoga

Yoga is an ancient medicine that dates back more than 5000 years ago. The word “Yoga” came from the Sanskrit word “Yuj” which means “to unite or integrate.” Yoga then is about the union of a person’s own consciousness and the universal consciousness.

Yoga asana improves circulation, stimulates the abdominal organs, and puts pressure on the glandular system of the body, which can generally result to better health. Pranayama (breathing techniques) were developed based on the concept that breath is the source of life.  Combines with meditation Yoga is a path to healing and awareness, both of self and the universe.

Martial Arts

Martial arts are codified systems and traditions of combat practices, which are practiced for a variety of reasons: self-defense, competition, physical health and fitness, entertainment, as well as mental, physical, and spiritual development.

Meditation

The term meditation refers to a broad variety of practices (much like the term sports) that includes techniques designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force (Qi, Ki, Prana, etc.) and develop compassion, love, patience, generosity and forgiveness. A particularly ambitious form of meditation aims at effortlessly sustained single-pointed concentration single-pointed analysis, meant to enable its practitioner to enjoy an indestructible sense of well-being while engaging in any life activity.
