A preparatory cleanse for Winter can help boost inner warmth and contribute to stronger resilience during the colder months.
Following Late Summer comes Fall, the Lung season, a time of grieving and letting go. Meet this season with kindness and activate the pungent Qi of the Lungs, supporting this time of surrendering to inevitable change.
As we shift to cooler temperatures our Kidney Yang (vital foundational energy) has to work harder to keep us warm. To support this shift we take a week to eat simply and to nourish the Lung and Kidney systems.
To reduce isolation we do this as a group, we take two weeks to prepare, guided by Chinese Medicine, our inner wisdom and Lamia’s experiences of hosting people through cleansing. After 2 weeks of prep (including food consultation, lifestyle adjustments and a good grocery list) we then eat simply and cleanse for a week.
