A great class for folks who feel comfortable with their plies, tondues etc. and want to work on increasing their dance vocabulary with more challenging barre exercises, short movement combinations across the floor, short choreographies and/or to begin learning jumps and turns.
Taught by Sze-Yang Ade-Lam, a founding member of ILL NANA/DiverseCity Dance Company, Sze-Yang works to create a judgement free space where everybody is valued and positive energy and affirmation are encouraged, so that people feel more comfortable exploring dance and movement while connecting with their bodies.
