Our Acupuncture services are evolving. Now in our 11th year we are continue to deepen our understanding, gain experience and enhance our treatments. As of Dec 3rd, 2018, we are embracing a transformed service model.

We have developed a way to continue to offer Community Acupuncture as we transform our approach to your care! With this change we will no longer using a sliding scale and instead will be offering our Acupuncture services at fixed prices. Our Community Acupuncture team will offer multiple acupuncture services to meet your unique needs, preferences and budgets.

For the past year and half we have been working with Samia and Ije of Turtle Tank to redesign our service model. With their support we have been realigning our roles, assessing our sustainability and refining our service models to ensure we meet these 4 core values:

Creativity & Innovation
We are committed to innovative practices that disrupt barriers to receiving care while also maintaining the integrity of the medicine being practiced. We want to have fun and be creative with how we offer services and co-create space for healing and transformation to happen.

Accessibility
We want our services to be available to as many people as possible. Accessibility is about so much, including physical access, systemic access, economic access and more.

Health & Well Being
We want our communities of clients, practitioners and workers to have the conditions for health and well being. All of us deserve to thrive and be nourished.

Economic Sustainability
We are committed to offering effective treatments that support access for clients and fair incomes for practitioners and workers.

Six Degrees is the first Community Acupuncture clinic in Canada and has been working with a sliding scale for the past 11 years. This change is an evolution of how we offer effective, affordable care.

As of December 3rd, 2018, our new service fees will be as follows:

NADA Ear Acupuncture $15
Community Acupuncture $30
Community Acupuncture with Health Education $50
Private Acupuncture $70

For Initial Visits, there will be a $15 assessment fee as before:
First Community Acupuncture $65
First Private Acupuncture $85

To help you understand the shifts we have made, please read this FAQ. We are always committed to access, innovation, health and sustainability, please ask us if you have questions about how this model fits with your treatments.

With this new service model our sustainability will deepen, ensuring high level integrative community health care for years to come plus be able to offer better care for ourselves.
